Camp Chris

Camp Chris Williams is an exciting summer camp experience for deaf and hard of hearing youth and their siblings ages 8–14. The camp is located at Lions Bear Lake Camp in Lapeer. Camp Chris is sponsored by the Michigan Coalition of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing People.

Camp Chris Williams provides safe and enjoyable opportunities to:

  • Meet Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth from throughout Michigan
  • Benefit from mentoring relationships with Deaf and Hard of Hearing counselors
  • Learn life skills
  • Develop social awareness
  • Motivate self–discovery
  • Participate in fun and exciting camp activities and discussions, and
  • HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

Dates of Camp: August 7-13
Location: Lions Bear Lake Camp in Lapeer MI
Check in: 2:00 PM August 7th.
Check out: 10 AM August 13
All Staff report at noon August 6th for mandatory trainning.
Staff application Deadline: June 1st.
Required forms will be available after Feb 15th.
