Announcements: Web cast on Challenging Job Accommodation Issues
Please join The Disability Law Resource Project (DLRP) at ILRU for a Web cast on Challenging Accommodation Issues: Ask the Job Accommodation Experts.
Four accommodation experts will present this Web cast on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 3:00–4:30pm Eastern, 2:00 Central; 1:00 Mountain; 12:00 Pacific; 11:00 Alaska; 9:00 Hawaii.
Join representatives from the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) as they provide us with information on the more challenging job accommodation issues employers present to them. Issues related to alcoholism, fragrance sensitivities, obesity, body odor, depression, HIV/AIDS, and cumulative trauma disorders will be discussed along with any other accommodation issues you want to discuss. Please submit your questions to webcast@ilru.org.
The JAN presenters together represent the full range of accommodation specialists. Linda Cater Batiste specializes in accommodations for individuals with motor impairments and addictions. Mandy J. Gamble works on the sensory team, and specializes in vision impairments, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and blood disorders. Kendra Duckworth, with the cognitive/neurological team, specializes in psychiatric impairments, brain injuries, and burn injuries. Beth Loy is a member of JAN’s motor team and specializes in workplace ergonomics and accommodations for individuals with motor impairments. She is also JAN's Webmaster.
