COVID-19 Resources

The Michigan Coalition of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Deaf Blind encourages you to take the necessary actions to keep yourself healthy during this time. This could be:

  1. Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds. Here’s a helpful link with more information.
  2. Stay at home! Social distancing is super important as it decreases the chances of you contracting COVID-19 or infecting anyone else.
  3. If you feel any of the symptoms (coughing, shortness of breath etc), call your doctor! See more information here.
  4. Stay up to date on what  we and other Michigan based community organizations are doing to put people over profit. You can find that information here.
  5. Wear face masks when going out in public. Homemade ones and bandanas are fine. This is to keep asymptomatic people from spreading germs to others. (just came out from CDC in 4/2/2020.)
  6. Coming in from grocery shopping or other essential tasks, consider immediately removing and washing your clothes and taking a shower right away.
