New Film about Deaf Girl "Guilty Innocence"
True story of deaf girl who was abused by her father

8:30pm - Reception
9:15pm Film with captions; 10:15pm Film without captions

Royal Oak Main Art Theatre
118 North Main Street
Royal Oak, MI 48067

1 in every 4 women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.

3 in every 4 Americans personally know someone who is or have been a victim of domestic violence.

1 in 5 women will be raped or sexually assaulted in her lifetime.

This brings us to our film entitled, "Guilty Innocence". Guilty Innocence is a film about a teenage deaf girl who shoots her father after suffering years of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, and her lawyer who can relate, fights to keep her from serving a life sentence in prison.

This script will captivate any audience and it will definitely tug at the heartstrings of anyone that truly has some compassion for human beings. We're hoping this film will encourage viewers to become more in tune with victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

It is our Goal at SwiftWinds Media to create innovative films that heighten the awareness of domestic violence against individuals with disabilities, as well as other issues that go untold in our communities.

With that being said, please join us by attending this benefit premiere on August 12th at the Main Art Theater,118 North Main Street
Royal Oak, MI 48067 (248) 263-2111. Tickets are $15.00 each and a portion of the proceeds will benefit two organizations that service the hearing impaired and women of domestic violence communities .

Please view our movie trailer to get a visual of the storyline and the quality of our work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmAueHy8l-8--
